OUR STORY
Krumkake is a Norwegian waffle cookie made with a special decorative, two-sided iron griddle similar to a pizelle iron. While hot, krumkaker are rolled into small cones around a wooden form. Krumkaker can be eaten plain or filled with a variety of fillings--including our delicious Norwegian krem.
We've been making krumkaker for family, friends, and neighbors for years. Now we'd like to share this traditional Norwegian dessert with you all year round! Try it filed with any of our flavors, including multekrem (cloudberry), tyttebærkrem (lingonberry), bringebærkrem (raspberry), sitronkrem (lemon), and others.
Tomine's Bakery is named after Stewart's oldemor (great-grandmother), who was born in the Telemark region of Norway and emigrated to America at the turn of the 20th century.
